Over One Million Products Listed

There are now close to 1.1 million products listed across all channels of searchMuze.co.uk. In the second week of 2008, products on the MusicMaster/Pop Channel hit the 770,000 mark, while the total amount of releases on our Classical Channel reached 140,000 just before the start of the year. Over on the Video Channel there are now over 126,000 products listed, while our coverage of Soundtrack and Audiobook titles also continues to grow.

Tracklistings on MusicMaster Channel

38,303 tracks have been added to CD albums on our Music database today. The project concentrated on tracks for albums released in 2006, where tracklistings were not provided.

50,000th Title On Video Channel

The 50,000th new title was added to the Video Channel today! Fittingly it was the legendary director, Robert Altman's final film, "The Prairie Home Companion". Full details of the film will appear on the site on Friday 16th March.

Coverscans on MusicMaster Channel

Over 5000 new cover images have been loaded on to the MusicMaster pop channel in January...so far! The images include back catalogue items as well as brand new and forthcoming releases, we endeavour to get artwork as far in advance of release date as possible. At the same time we will be adding another 18,000 back catalogue images over the next 3 months.

2008 Mercury Music Prize Nominees

2008 Brit Award Winners

In true Brits style the winners of the 2008 Brit Awards were announced in a glittering ceremony at London's Earls Court. Hosted by the notorious Osbourne Family, the ceremony went by without a hitch and featured mesmerising performances from the likes of Kylie, Paul McCartney and Amy Winehouse. The Arctic Monkeys scooped Best British Group and Best British Album for the second year in a row with Take That taking home two awards for Best Live Act and Best Single.

TEN (The Entertainment Network), distributor for Warner Music & Video, ITV DVD and many others, has now been renamed to Cinram Logistics UK Ltd. TEN was acquired by Cinram in July 2004.
